The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is one of India's most anticipated and beloved festivals of the year, with gigantic idols of the elephant deity paraded through the streets and queues of devotees that stretch for miles. But the Covid-19 lockdown threatened to take the wind out of its sail with strict bans on celebrations, festival parades, and crowded gatherings. So, to give India the magnificent celebration it is accustomed to, we created a likeness of the deity's distinct form using 122 SUVs for a larger than life, yet safe and socially responsible celebration.
